I normally carry around an E-M1 II and some pretty large (or sometimes small) lenses.
But there are times when I just don't need the larger camera and I just know I'm not gonna be making any award winning photos, and I could make do with something smaller, like my 9-18mm or 14-150mm or maybe just a 25mm 1.8. I used to own a Sony RX100VA, but I found it too limiting, as I'm mostly interested either in wide angles, or normal portrait lenses. Plus, I didn't find the RX100VA to be truly pocketable or light.
So
1) What exactly is the difference between the E-PL8 vs E-PL9 vs E-PL10? They all appear to have the same megapickles and they all look rather similar. Should I just get the cheapest one?
2) Am I going to see a huge drop in quality vs the E-M1 II? Is the IQ at least on par with the older E-M5 Mk II?
3) Is this a stupid idea and should I spring for an E-M5 III? I just realized how the E-M5 III is only 34g heavier than an E-PL10.
