Is there a way to get instant S-AF when using a Lumix lens on the Olympus body in MF mode? I have camera set to [MF] [mode 3] so with an Oly lens attached I can touch the AFL button to activate S-AF when in MF. This works as expected with Oly lens. With Lumix lenses the AFL button does nothing unless the lens is switched to [AF].

I am not talking about [S-AF+MF] where you can manually focus after auto focusing. I'm in MF mode (switch on Lumix lens) and trying to get E-M1 II AFL button to activate S-AF.

There is no way the lens AF when you put the side switch button on MF. Leave it on AF and when you are in mode 3 (ΜF) you can AF with back button AFL/AEL.

Hi, you can set the lever on the E-M1's and 5's to toggle MF, and use BBF for S-AF; I think it's Mode 5.
