That's a fine introduction to m43 if it's within your budget.
Although I'd recommend the 12-100 over the 12-40. The 12-40 is a fine lens but the FL is limiting.

There was a kit with the 12-200 for less, but having owned the 12-40 in the past I did not want to compromise on IQ, even if it means more leg work or needing to spring for a lens with greater reach in the future. You are of course right about the 12-100, but currrently I don't have the budget.

Good decision to hold off on the 12-200.
Having budget constraints sucks, but you still got some great gear!
