    Mounted on an OM-D.

I see this lens isn't represented in this sub forum. One of my favourites. These images are pretty much OOC, just some cropping in iPhoto etc.. Hope you like them. And yes, i like bugs .

Thanks Steph. No i don't, i will post one up asap though as i've been meaning to do it (probably tomorrow). I haven't played with it much recently as i've been getting to grips with the 60mm Macro.

Damn, this is the lens I want. I need something fairly fast and longer than the 45. Beautiful shots!

Thanks for the comments . Yes, it's a great lens to use, and nicely sharp for an old-timer. Good copies are pricey though.

    Beautiful BOKEH

What makes this lens so impressive in my mind is the quality of bokeh and the shallow DOF shot with a m4/3 camera. We have all heard how bad m4/3 is for macro and shallow DOF. Hopefully this will stop people :horse:

Can anyone compare this to the M43 Olympus 60mm macro?

I'm very interested in getting a macro lens and ask feel that adding a 90mm prime to my kit would be more useful than a 60mm lens. But aside from autofocus, I'm not sure what else I'd be giving up.

Sorting through some files pulled from the wreckage of a long [self] destroyed iPhoto i found these. All the following with the said 90/2 Macro and handheld jpegs etc. on an EM5.

A little further back this, each thistle flower is almost a couple inches across.

There's also the Olympus 80mm f4, but it's a completely different lens. I just went out and took these using the 25 and 14 extension tubes, the former necessary because of the way the end of the lens protrudes from the mount and with the 14 to enable macro. Nothing remarkable about the shots, just some quick and dirties to illustrate how the lens works. Bokeh always looks good in macro mode with most lenses, it's when used for normal use that its true characteristics show.
