hi , there is mint 9-18 mm up for sale , but it looks like the seller doesnt get rid of it easily.Price has been lowered from 330 euros to 220 today .It even comes with a suncap and a filter.
I have a epm1 body , so i figured this might be a good buy .
I like the added drama at 9mm , but i was wondering if , at 18mm , portraits look natural ,not stretched out .

Gnarly Stump

OM-D + Oly 9-18. I need to remember to give this lens a try more often for shots other than the usual wide open scenic vistas.

I thought the German words to Autobahn summed this shot up well!

Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn

Vor uns liegt ein weites Tal
Die Sonne scheint mit Glitzerstrahl

Die Fahrbahn ist ein graues Band
Weisse Streifen, gruener Rand

Salmon Ladder at Ballard Locks in Seattle

It's salmon season in Seattle so I went to the locks to check them out. I took these in the viewing gallery below the fish ladder. All taken at 9mm and pressed right up to the glass to minimize reflections.

For me, it's the perfect hiking lens. Very light and doesn't take much place in the backback. Lately I only take this lens and the Oly 60 with me, when I am on a daytrip.

I took this picture in the beginning of the hike. Our goal was the peak in the picture (Guffert near Achensee in Austria). The 1300 vertical meters (aprox. 3,900ft) took us a bit more than three hours.
