Went to the beautiful Oregon coast over the weekend, unfortunately the moon was still visible almost all night. However there is a small window that we can shoot between the end of blue hour and moon rise. Here is one from Secret Beach in Samuel H. Boardman Regional Park just north of Brookings.

Also this was my first time attempting to stack shots. Here I used 13 shots and stacked with "Starry Landscape Stacker." I think it's only available on OSX.

Looks like a pretty decent job of defish, IMO.

The in camera does a really good job at times, other times it’s not so great. It leaves the RAW, so it’s a no brainer for me to use it.

I rented this lens back in 2019 for a trip to Hawaii; my profile photo was made with it! I thought the lens was pretty good but so niche that I'd never use it but recently found myself in a position where 12mm wasn't wide enough so now I'm hunting for an affordable 8FE.
