This lens is rather "old" lens. Is there anything more "modern" and equally efficient and spendurous than this 75mm ? Click on the captured screen for the page I pick it from. Thank you ! :)
After all the lens is from 2013... right ? Announced in May 2012...
Just the various Olympus f/1.2 primes. But if you can manage the focal length and find it used there's almost no greater bang for buck when it comes to sharpness and bokehliciousness. Got mine for $550 and it's on my camera by default nowadays :D
The Oly 45 is great too.

Thank you CyVan. But since I have the Panny 42,5mm f/1.2 I am not interested in the Oly 45
However, a greater focal distance would be welcome.
Anyway, I think I am diving into the 75 pretty soon ! :)

I meant the Oly 45 f1.8 in terms of bang for buck. The 45 1.2 and 42.5 1.2 are too pricey to be considered the same :)

AFAIK the only lenses that are similar to the 75 in terms of speed and image quality but longer than 75 are the old SHG lenses like the 35-100/2.0 and 150/2.0, but they are big, heavy, discontinued and have slow auto focus. Maybe the new Panasonic 200/2.8 will also be comparable, but it's much longer and costs a fortune...
