There's a pair of coopers hawks taken up residence in our oak trees and have apparently raised 4 offspring this season. THey are absolutely decimating our poor songbirds so I just stand by and let nature take its course. I have been improving my birdshooting with the 75-300 over the past few weeks as they are sitting on the branches dropping small bird beaks and legs and feathers all over. Both shot 300 mm, f6.7 1/250 and 1/200th sec. ISO 1600 handheld.

This lonely rock outside Pulpit Harbor, Maine, has been home to osprey nests continuously since the 1500's when first observed I was told. As we approached one of the pair returned to the nest and I was able to catch him/her with my EM-10 75-300mm at ISO 400 1/2500 sec f/6.7 and 300 mm. Still cropped a bit.
