I received my Olympus 7-14mm F2.8 PRO last weekend. I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces yet but I will post a few photos shortly.

Looking forward to seeing what people can do with this lens!

I clicked on your link, clicked on the picture so it would fill the window, right clicked and chose "copy image location", pressed the "image" button and pasted the link in.

I'm so waiting to get the ok from the boss on this lens. I sold my old shg 7-14 the day after the 2.8 was announced. Unfortunately I bought the 75mm and 12-40 with the funds ;-)

Me, I'm on the fence. Have a really hard time deciding on whether to get this one or the SHG 7-14. What might in the end nudge me toward the new lens is that it's so hard to find an SHG to evaluate. Most shots I've seen with the SHG are not 16 MP shots with lots of detail across the frame.

With the 7-14/2.8, I have already done the evaluation I need here, so I believe I already have a good feel for what it can do.

I've just tested it in a parisian shop in France. I had the GX7 with me but I think it should be better to use it on my GH4...

Yep, lol. The situation is atypical I assure you, but I wanted to see how wide 7mm really is and just held my camera up and fired the shutter button without frame composition.

I really like this lens. I was a bit scared of not running a filter. I usually throw a filter on and forego a cap. No problems so far. I had a bit of a learning curve, the 7mm is much wider than the 9mm.
