Ok, let me be the first. Not very impressive, but I took this picture as soon as I got the lens.

Using the lens with a different purpose. The pictures were resized only for the galleries. Please don't kill me about the subjects or composition, I just wanted to check for flare, IQ, etc.

Check out the detail in cell phone guy's hair. Amazing. Can't wait for Amazon's supplies to arrive.

Damn thats sharp. Would love to see some head to head comparisons vs 75mm. Olympus is on a roll with their primes.

Got my copy today, here's a handful of test shots. Some of these are at higher ISO indoors so there's some noise. All are handheld also and I can already see it's more difficult to work with a 60mm non-stabilized lens than the PL 45mm w/OIS.

All with G5 + 60mm

Reference point for this shot - this is a dog hair on top of my macbook

And one portrait with the lens... I thought the 75mm was sharp as can be already, but there was a ton of detail even at ISO 1600. This is after a bunch of retouching in post to remove make-up spots and applying a lightly modified "soften skin" preset with the adjustment brush as well.

It came in today and I only had a few minutes of sun.... so this plant action was the best I could do... especially with the breeze that was out

You did very well for few minutes of sunlight. I wish I could get those shots in one day. lol An eye for photography makes a huge difference.

Thx I was trying to get a few decent shots... however I just think this lens just really rocks....

BTW ... when I opened the box of the lens, I was very taken by its diminutive size and construction. I think everyone who gets this lens will be pleasantly surprised and pleased.

Sorry to double post, I started my own thread before I found this one but would prefer to add to the sample archive here.

Few more from today doing some testing side by side with the PL 45mm. Need to do some more tests but it looks like the 60mm has some possibilities for the occasional portrait too, as I'd hoped

Nice shots, Jay!

BTW, did you blur the foreground and background on the third shot in PP? The sharp change is focus is kind of drastic. Reminds me of the leopard walking on the street (National Geographic) shot that someone posted on this site a while back...

Another spider shot here. Hand held, so any lack of sharpness was from me.

Nope, that's all in camera... the DoF gets very shallow when working at super close focusing distances and IIRC that was at f/2.8. Doing it over again I'd probably stop down for more DoF but it was also already dark enough that I was at ISO 1600 there too.
