I can't seem to put this lens down! A couple of good old Aussie fly shots. I find that having IS Off gives me crisper shots, especially when working with flash. I'm not sure if it's a technique thing or just my imagination though. Does anyone else have any specific recommended settings for macro that may seem obvious but may not be followed?

A couple of small wasps this time, not too sure if they are native or not, but they are certainly docile, they couldn't care less about me flashing them!

I can't find it now, even that I have spent almost half an hour to get that part on this website. Unreal!!
There were a few videos explanatory how to do it, maybe google it or someone else would help with findings.
The idea was to place your subject on IKEA glass (sort of smokey) and one piece of aluminium foil on the background well wrinkled. Two set of lights one on your subject the other one on the background (al foil).
