I was hired to shoot at a local dance studio's Christmas show. Here's a couple of shots I took and more can be found here: Studio Move's Christmas Show 2018 (image heavy)

Recently I decided to try the "Brenizer" technique. My usual models had gone off to watch TV or catch mice, so I used this soft toy.
I used Affinity to stitch it together, from about a dozen individual shots.

This was basically a science experiment, NOT meant to have any artistic merit.

I was quite pleased with the result, but whilst it wasn't at all difficult, it was a bit of a pain - not sure I'm going to use it often.
Nonethess, in the small room I was in, to get that FOV from the O45 I'd have had to have knocked down a wall. And then standing further away the background blur would have been less. Nice narrow DOF, only the nose is in focus, but not the eyes.
So it does have its uses.
