Bought this lens yesterday. Not great weather-wise today but I was determined to find something to shoot in the back yard. SOOC.

A little colour fringing around the whiskers but the sharpness and sexy bokeh are more than I could ask for. I'm not going to miss the fairly average f/1.8 I recently sold.

The 45mm PRO is a good match for indoor venue imaging, it's fast and the focal length is often right (some images crossposted with Musical performance photos).

Magnificent!
:hail:
What a beautiful dog...

and he/she has the same eyes as an Aussie Shepherd we had when the kids were growing up. I only wish I’d had the camera equipment I have now to have been able to capture such a portrait as yours.

Curious... what is your new lighting gear and setup for this shot?

Thank you! She's definitely my baby haha. and yes I love her eyes, a not as common trait so it's fun and makes for some great photos :)

I've just switched to some Profoto lighting equipment (from Broncolor) since Profoto fully supports Olympus camera's. This was shot with two B10's (I'm ecstatic about these lights btw!) on either side of her, somewhat to the side/behind her pointing towards the camera. I had some grid's on the lights as well to focus the light a little more. No modifiers/softboxes on this shot.
