Used in the right time of day (minutes before sunset), the color from 40-150 keeps surprising me. When I searched for the pics in my library, my first thought was that these were taken by the sigma 60 mm f2.8 but the EXIF corrected me :) all handheld, sooc (vivid or pop-art shooting mode?)

Walked outside with my 40-150 and just happened to look up and see this Juvenile White Bellied Sea Eagle fly overhead

I am always suspicious about having bad copies of lenses, since I've had some troubles in the past, but I think this is acceptably sharp for 150 mm...

Looks good, but remember that the longer the shooting distance, the more "stuff" in the air to degrade the image.
The change in color is one effect of the air affecting the image.
