This really is a stunning lens, this is Ernie shot with this lens and the E-M1X hand held slow shutter speed. Very little opportunities to use my gear due to Corvid I need my motorsport fix.

Pair of Plover sibling chicks hunting for food at Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Mount Coot Tha.

Mum and Dad and a third chick were nearby, but it was hard enough getting two of them in frame without one of them giving me the moon.

Here are a few I took comparing the 40-150/2.8 with and without the MC-20 teleconverter. All taken with the E-M5.2.

First, 40-150/2.8 alone

And for further comparison, the 300/4 (alone)

Mrs Blackbird on rail of the front desk, very relaxed in the afternoon summer sun - this is uncropped, fully zoomed (210mm with 1.4x converter) at almost closest focus distance. ISO 2000 on my "new" E-M1 Mark2.

Out with the M1 MkII and the 40-150 with C-AF mode, 3x3 AF grid, +2 sensitivity and a squadron of swallows that were zooming all over the beach - the viewfinder was great for tracking and was very pleased to nail some shots on these challenging birds. Electronic shutter has very little rolling shutter compared to my E-M5 MkII.

I'm just lovin' the 40-150 Pro. Attached image was taken in the Rocky River Reservation.

And, in December, this red-shouldered hawk was very cooperative at Sandy Ridge Reservation (North Ridgeville, OH).
