Not sure I need to add any praise to the 40-150 2.8 the following was with the mc14, it even captured some of the detail in the caught wish dorsal fin. I was apprehensive about buying it after my difficulty using the Leica 100-400. Very happy with the 40-150 results.

Above are all very nice.
I've the 40-150 with extender and looking at the Panasonic 100-400mm.
Curious what your 'difficulty' was with the 100-400mm. Maybe you've written about elsewhere?
I've an EM5II but open to the EM1 so that's in the balance too.
