Any idea when the 40-150 Pro will be released? What is the price range for such a lens? I'm hoping it will have similar price and sharpness as the 12-40.

I'm making do with 2 legacy lens (135mm and 200mm), and after comparing images to my 75, I'm blown away at how good the 75 is.

I think we'll get it in the summer, maybe April or May if we are lucky. I think it will cost at least 1500 maybe even closer to 2000.

I think I've read in a few places that it's planned for release in the second half of this year. I'll guess September 15. If it's as similar to the 12-40 as the P35-100 is to the 12-35, it will be really good but not incredible like the 75. It looks about twice as big as the 12-40, so I'll guess it will weigh 700-800 grams and cost about $1500.

The Zuiko 75 is a hard act to follow. It is currently the reigning champion of m43 lenses. Photozone rated it at 4.5 stars. No other m43 lens they have tested so far can match that score. DXO also rates the 75 very highly.

I am curious to see how the 42.5 Nocticron MTF compares to the 75. The 40-150 PRO will probably "only" do as well as the 12-40 PRO. Hopefully it's as good as or better than the 4/3 Zuiko 50-200 SWD.
