Taken as I paddled by yesterday. Kayaks are great for sneaking up on wildlife, but BIFs are challenging.

I've pondered this lens but then looked at subjects I'd use it on plus price.

River otters in spring courtship mode. Otters are fast--I originally attempted with S-AF, but quickly switched to C-AF and kept bumping the speed upward. These two would surface briefly, gulp some air, and submerge once more, all the while spinning and twirling. Lots of shots, only a few successes. This is my favorite.
