I got lucky! Red-tails in flight The bird is definitely at Hail Mary distance but the camera and lens are so good that you can see the hawk's "screeeee..." A minor amount of tightening up of the bird in Topaz Denoise AI. Cropped to just under 9Mp before resize.

A more modest image I think the bokeh characteristics survives using the MC-20. The BIRD AF feature on the E-M1X also works excellent for some other subjects, squirrels as this one for example.

I've noted that before but I'm amazed how little (if any) the mc-20 affects image quality. Here's a sample with lesser spotted woodpecker. IQ is best seen in flickr, I think, it's less sharp here for some reason.

The lens certainly performs well. Not the best pictures (light was not ideal), but I finally got a picture of some great blue herons I have been "tracking" for a while. I typically see them on the other side of the lake and every time I get close enough they fly away.
This time I got close enough. However as I was moving into position the great blue heron caught and downed some food (so I missed the action).
