Lens and camera combination used to take the pictures above for your reference.

I want to like this lens but the truth is it just doesn't quite work on a 4/3 sensor. It feels, looks and operates as good as any OM Zuiko, but it's just not quite wide enough and not fast enough compared to other similar legacy lenses to work as a standard prime.

Raarrggh zombie thread..

I just got my OM adapter and have been playing with some lenses from my mom. I have to say that the 50 1.8 is nice..but I'm not quite sure how to feel with this 28mm. As Luckypenguin noted it's not that wide, not that long, and not that fast.

Oh well, I'll try it some more. I suppose it's somewhat close to the focal length of the new panaleica and voigtlander. I can at least see if I like using a normal range MF lens..or maybe it can kill that dream and save me a bunch of cash. ;)

Picked one up from KEH for 19 bucks the other day and it's easily become one of my favorite lenses. So easy to focus and nail the sharpness, it does help I dialed in my OM mount for infinity where it's supposed to be.

The FOV is wider than my sample..I 8x10 crop ratio it to get rid of a crane boom that snuck in the side.

I am a new in MF lenses,
this one I got from eBay,
it was expensive, scratched and broken

spend a few hours to fix it,
and now this lens is my favorite one (but I have only 3 lenses )

I need to use mine more. Same as my Hexanon 28mm, but I like this one's handling a lot, and delightfully clicky front-most aperture ring. I dislike the adapter being longer than the AR adapter though.
