It seems my main photographic interest, these days, is what I see on my daily walk....which is not all that bad ;)

I just received my Oly 25/1.8 and have been practicing shooting vertical-frame panos with it.. Here's one of my better ones, shot from my front porch today.. I'm VERY pleased with the lens.. FWIW, I had in hand both the F1.2 17 and 25mm lenses but returned both as being too...frivolous...I think the best word is.. Have a Leica 15/1.7 and Oly 45/1.8 on the way.. FWIW, this was stitched by PSCC's Photomerge function from five frames; the manual-focus point was the yellow fire hydrant just right of center.. The original is 12792 by 5159 pixels for an AR of 2.48:1 and 66.0 megapixels.

Jeffery we seem to be going down a similar track. I have an EM10 2, the 25 1.8, a Pany 14 2.5 and a Sigma 60 2.8 on the way.
I have a fair bit of Fuji gear so my intention with M43 is to keep it light/small/prime/cheap[ish].....sort of in the original spirit of M43.
The 1.2 lenses I'm sure are fantastic....but they certainly are $rivolous! :(

:rolleyes-38:A little entertainment out back. I took a look at an old (not original to me) fishing reel today. Added more line and popped it on a newer cheapo rod, I think similar in action to what would be in the reel's time period. I chose the 25 for the narrower view, and I think it did pretty well considering the action shot was more of a selfie -- it ain't easy for me to cast left-handed

Still playing with panos.. Have tried a few different mountings but then dismissed anything more complex than using the Rogeti panning base in the Rogeti geared head.

Learned a few things--I've been doing this for 20+ years, and I forget a lot-- but I'm still having some trouble with exposure mode--as in one time manual works finely and the next time it doesn't, and then aperture-priority works finely and the next time it doesn't.. I managed to produce, among other good ones, this 3.39-AR, 91.1MP jewel.. Five frames from the 12-45/4 @ 45, rotated 25/12.5/0/12.5/25 degrees.

On the pano, make sure there is no exposure bracketing set in manual mode. That would make the exposures vary from shot to shot,

TYVM again, ata; that seems to do it!! Here are a couple from today, with NO resulting errors in foreground brightness.

I'm really pleased with this setup, and the new-to-me Oly 45/1.8 also works very well.

Wife's coming home from hospital tomorrow so probably will be busy with serious things.

Looks like a nice setup.
What "L" Bracket do you have? I am looking for one for my EM1.3 but don't want to spend as much as the RSS one.
