Thanks for your compliment. To be honest, it was just a snapshot, I didn't put a lot of thinking into it.^ Are you kidding? That's a great shot...well composed, full of color, an old comfy looking brick house w/smoke coming out of the chimney. The line of the hedge/house on one side and the tree line on the other separated by a nice dirt path...What's not to like?
Well I have this lens sitting in a drawer, your 'snapshot' got me thinking I should really give that lens another try! My reason I hardly use it is perceptional. It feels so light and plasticy - just says to me cheap and nasty. The same with the 60mm macro. The 12mm F2 and the 75mm 1.8 are to my mind good lenses.
