Just got this little guy on Saturday and took him out for a few snapshots. Very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful smooth bokeh this lens offers.

Not quite sure yet if it solves my "high ISO" problem indoors, though. This has been denoised quite a bit (I just hate noise, I can't help it). But the alternatives to the 1.8 (Panny 1.4 or Oly 1.2) are either too expensive or too big. Guess I'll have to sharpen my denoise skills ;)

Having come from the 25mm f/1.4 that I used for a number of years, I can safely say that going to f/1.4 on that lens alone definitely will not solve your high ISO problems. I haven't noticed much of a hit from switching to f/1.8.

I primarily bought this lens to replace my 50mm 1.4 that (I thought) made a great combo with my now gone 6D for head and shoulder portraits. I took it on my daily walk and thought I would give it a bash as a sort of landscape lens. This is quite a heavy crop, it's a very sharp lens indeed.
