Had it in my cart, price jumped back to $399 when I went to checkout. Called and they told me it was a price error and they wont sell it to me for $349 :(

The lens is 31,752 yen on Amazon.co.jp, which is about $310 (USD).

^^^ That sucks guys. I had a feeling it was a pricing error as no where did it say "sale" as it should have because the msrp is $399 and all the other Canadian retailers were at the price except TCS.

Saneal Camera has it for $379, not quite as good as 349 but better than mrsp.

They sent me a backorder notice rather than a cancellation notice. I hope it ships soon, I've sold my 20mm and have no fast "normal" right now!

Sent from my One S using Mu-43 mobile app

    Good point.
But IMO Amazon Japan doesn't ship internationally anything except CDs DVDs and books.
Photo camera products can't be ordered to Europe or USA.

Please fix me if I'm wrong.

Yes, you are correct. However, it appears that one can use a forwarding service like Tenso in Japan to order from Amazon Japan and have items shipped internationally. The forwarding cost is not great and it may save money for some items ... although I haven't tried it. Also, I think the current cost in yen also shows that the lens is likely to sell for $349 or so in the future. The "pricing mistake" may have been to offer the eventual everyday price too early.

Olympus warranty is worldwide and Canadian retailers will take major credit cards and ship to the USA. Canadian retailers have plenty of love for USA customers.
