Loving this lens more and more. While I got quite a few memorable shots this holiday season this one was one of my favourites with the 25/1.2 Pro.
ISO400, f1.2, 1/30... edited in Exposure X3, some subtle adjustments and a vignette, reduced to 90% with 3MB limit on jpg for posting

Thanks Gerard... means a lot. The dog is a wonderful friend for my son and his wife. They got her as an international rescue dog. In this particular shot it was our family get together at Christmas time and she was intently watching someone open their present. It was one of the first times I tried focus peaking with magnify, and she was sitting so quietly that I was able to use focus peaking, nail the focus on her eye and hope for the best. I actually thought at the time that someone else had taken the shot because I have never been able to capture the pure essence of the subject like this. Our middle son, a 3D/VR graphic artist said the only thing wrong with it was that it wasn’t in a frame and mounted on the wall. I guess that is next.
But I really do appreciate your comment as it makes me feel there is hope for me! :)
