This is my all-around pocket camera lens, and while not quite as pocketable as the old film-era Olympus Stylus Epic (aka "[mju:]"), you can still use it in quick-draw one-handed mode, it gives some subject separation... and the focus is fast! I like the 4:3 aspect ratio better, too... in this case slightly cropped vertically to 4:5.

Oh, I so loved those mju cameras! I went through multiple- would use one until I killed it, then would replace it with another. They were brilliant. Great photo, I love the symmetry of it.

Probably my favourite lens, surprisingly versatile and useful. (E-M10 II & Oly 17 1.8).

I was just walking to the end of a bush track and heard a strange whirring sound coming from the concrete path just ahead. I wondered what it might be as motor vehicles aren't allowed on the path.
Suddenly the skateboarder flashed down the hill in front of me. Just got the camera up in time. The sound was an electric motor on the back axle.

It's a long hill so hopefully the device was able to charge the battery on the way down.

I think I've heard of powered skateboards but haven't seen one before.

I bought this lens some time ago, but never used it until about a week ago. I had been using my 12-50 zoom instead but decided to try the 17mm. It will not be another year before I use it again.
