    Thanks for today's coffee-over-monitor moment!
    We have a flogging-a-dead-horse smiley...

Also thx for the link, interested in buying the lens.

I've had the lens for about 6 months and really like it. It is on my OMD or EPM2 pretty much at all times. Looks great and performs very well.

I thought it good enough I superglued it to my E-P3 last winter. I guess I can never upgrade to the E-P5...

I bought the lens when everyone was saying it sucked. And wrote a review on my blog starting "What's all the angst?..." lol.

It's really a very good lens and I love it.

I prefer the 17 FOV over the 20, and when I had both, I found little difference between the two. But then, I don't pixel peep :)

It's a good lens, but DxOMark should stick with sensor reviews.

Sorry for the thread-bump, but thanks again for the comments. I bought lens last week and absolutely love it!
So much better for evening events than my frustrating 20mm

I don't understand the criticism on this lens. Maybe it's copy variation? Mine is excellent. Sharp corner to corner and superfast AF.

I think most people that criticize the lens haven't used it or only read the mediocre reviews about it. Most people who bought the lens seems very happy with it. I certainly am happy with the lens :happy-084:

I see you also own the Oly 45mm f/1.8 lens. How is the sharpness of the 17mm lens compared to the 45mm lens?

I also owned the 75mm f/1.8... I just sold it yesterday. To be honest I find all of them sharp wide open. I don't really pixel peep though and only shoot for web too.
