The topic came up in a different forum of the "look" achieved by similar-field-of-view lenses with these two cameras. I'll post some shots here, and will add others to this thread later today (see explanation below). Info: Olympus E-M5 with 17mm f/1.8 lens shot first, shot at f/2.0 Fuji x100 with 23m f/2.0 lens second, shot at f/2.8 Olympus shot "Muted" with saturation and contrast down and tone curve reducing contrast just a little further Fuji shot in Provia simulation, with color +1, highlights -1, sharpness +1 Both shot auto ISO, auto WB, no lens hood I shot Olympus as above as I noted the colors were closest to "reality", but now the images look too muted to me. I usually shoot in Natural pic mode but those often look too saturated and contrasty, even with both dialed down. Here they are. I'll add some shot in Natural later.
