The Body Cap Lens is also available to pre-order for $10 less directly from Olympus, but Olympus will charge tax plus shipping so the price comes out about the same.

B&H link doesn't work for me; the others do.

I know it's pre-order, but have there been any samples posted of pictures taken with this lens?

...assuming their camera body is also compact. And they aren't planning on making any calls.

I pre-ordered mine from Olympus last week. It should arrive in about a month.

I'm glad Olympus priced it properly. Other bodycap lenses sell for a little less. If they had priced it at $150 it would have been a disaster for sales.

I wonder at the discrepancy. Perhaps an error at B&H et al, given that the standard price was reported to be $50 initially?

I think it's safe to assume this is now the smallest micro 4/3 lens. What is the smallest body?

What would be the smallest micro 4/3 setup now?

    I don't know, man.

I see what you're saying, but... I think I'll still bring my cell phone camera, for those shots where my art simply demands blown highlights, noisy shadows, wonky color balance, and slow focusing.

Not bad. Nice combo there: the 45 and the 15.

I almost ordered this lens from Olympus on the release day, however, because of their website error, I ended up did not order it.

Then I used the $60 bought a MINT condition Canon FD 50mm f3.5 macro lens from ebay. I have a lot of fun with this macro lens on my E-M5 so far. Comparing to the canon lens, this lens cap might still over priced a bit, $30 (plus tax+shipping) is a much better price point.
