I went fishing yesterday with my two brothers and a buddy. We were 20+ miles off the Oregon coast, and there is a surprising amount of life out there. Along with a lot of sharks and albatross, we also had a couple of humpbacks too close for the Little Tuna.
We watched this shark for a while as it tried to catch whatever was hiding under the log. It's a pretty tight crop and not really worthy of a lens showcase, but it was super cool seeing the action.
After the fog burned off, black-footed albatross keyed in on our boat. At one point, I counted 40 of these overgrown seagulls bobbing along behind us...
