    hi all,

I am new here. I just got an OM-D EM-5 camera with a 14-42 kit lens.
It's a great small camera and I enjoy using it very much coming from a bulky Canon system.

I was wondering which lens to get if I want to upgrade the kit lens to a better quality one. I prefer a zoom equivalent to a Canon EF 24-105 f/4L or Canon EF-S 15-85 f/4-5.6. The Olympus 12-50 doesn't interest me because it's too slow and bulky. What are my choices? Thank you,

Welcome. If you want native glass your choice of zooms currently available are:
    - 12-50 oly
    - 14-150 oly
    - 14-140 panny
    - 14-45 panny
    - 14-42 panny
    - 14-42X panny
    - 14-175X panny
    Coming:
    - 12-35 f2.8 panny (taking pre-orders) will cost more than your OMD
    - 35-100 f2.8 panny
if you want to adapt legacy glass, you have too many options to list, although finding suitable wide end equivalents are rare and expensive due to the 2x crop factor.

Thank you for your reply. Looks like what I really wants doesn't exist (yet)
A high quality 12-50 zoom with a constant f/4 will be nice.
