Roxborough State Park is a nature / wildlife park southwest of Denver. It previously had been used as a ranch, but the state was fortunately able to acquire the land and preserve it from development.
Most winters we would be skiing, but this winter we've been staying closer to home and hiking to remain fit, frequently at the park. We've seen lots of tracks in the snow, ranging from voles to mountain lions. Haven't normally been taking a camera along, but with 8 inches of new snow the day before, I figured I should stop being so lazy....

from earlier hike - skid marks / mountain lion tracks (iPhone) near kill site where the kitties dragged mule deer across trail. From the sizes of tracks, looked to be a pair of mountain lions - an adult with a juvenile....
