A little piece of the northern california coast right at sunset! Slightly exposure corrected, but otherwise a jpeg SOOC. I'm quite enjoying the versatility of this lens for carrying on hikes and travels.

This one was backlit so fixed quite a lot, but not far off from the actual scene I was looking at...great light that evening.

Both taken on E-M5 III, with the 12-45 of course.

Finally ice skating!!

Not often there is oportunity for this. So I was very happy to do it today! Fantastic skating, the ice was perfect! And lovely day, about -6 degree and sunny all day. Brought food and gas stove, tea and stuff. Epic!

Roxborough State Park is a nature / wildlife park southwest of Denver. It previously had been used as a ranch, but the state was fortunately able to acquire the land and preserve it from development.

Most winters we would be skiing, but this winter we've been staying closer to home and hiking to remain fit, frequently at the park. We've seen lots of tracks in the snow, ranging from voles to mountain lions. Haven't normally been taking a camera along, but with 8 inches of new snow the day before, I figured I should stop being so lazy....

from earlier hike - skid marks / mountain lion tracks (iPhone) near kill site where the kitties dragged mule deer across trail. From the sizes of tracks, looked to be a pair of mountain lions - an adult with a juvenile....
