I really like that, Richard. Lovely composition, and balance of light and dark.Been spending a little time digging through some old(er) images from my back-up drive. I've almost lost track of the mount of kit I've been through in the last 4 years (this was taken on one of my first days out with an M43 camera) and often wonder if I've made any progress. Still a lovely combo, the E-M1.1 & 12-40. If I could only have one set-up, I'd be happy with this.
This image taken at Southwell Workhouse in June 2017. A fascinating place to visit, but also sobering and moving.

Thanks John - really appreciate the kind comment.I really like that, Richard. Lovely composition, and balance of light and dark.
Would print beautifully.
I have to say that whether it's been a Leica, Nikon or Olympus, ALL of your photos have been superb Richard.
So, carry on swapping to your heart's (if not your wallet's) content.
I feel the same when looking at my better photos taken with my Nikon Coolpix E5000, but particularly when reviewing my images taken with my E-510 and its two kit lenses (and with some of my adapted OM lenses). Some of these are among the very best images I have ever taken. Thanks John - really appreciate the kind comment.
Been quite an eye-opener looking at some of these older images, and whilst I love gear almost as much as taking the images themselves, I have come to wonder if all the swapping and changing has been worth it. Fun? Of course, and I know it's a journey so many other people have been on.
