I realize the E-M1 and 12-40 is possibly the greatest combination since Burns & Allen, but I am wondering if anybody has used their shiny new 12-40 on other bodies. On smaller bodies, like the E-PL5, does this combination suffer from "NEX syndrome"? I am interested in the lens and the new E-M1, but a new body may be a bit of a stretch.

I haven't personally, but I did read one review that had tried it on a smaller body (don't remember which or where the review was) and they commented that it actually improved handling of the smaller camera, as it provides a solid grip for your left hand. Probably a little unwieldy if you shoot one handed though.

I tried it on my e-m5 with the HLD-6 fitted and it handled really well. I have ordered one ... I hate waiting ... I really really hate waiting .
