These would not showcase THE BEST of what this lens could do, I took it to work yesterday, curious and excited for any chance I could get:

The background blur is quite decent for an f 4 and not nervous either.

The AF was quick enough for me to react to the bird below.

Beautiful bokeh.

My entrance to work ... of sort :p ... I did notice a little bit of CA on the top right corner but was easily (or easier) fixed with no loss of Image Quality (compared to a recent post of mine).

A wild "pokemon" appeared ... of sorts :p ... I'm finding the loss of light to f 4 is not as bad as I thought it might, the AF was very responsive and accurate that it made it quite easy to keep the IQ up not just in the file but in the EVF.

A very young deer showed up as well, but it didn't last very long because of a pigeon cr£&*"g itself right above me as I try to be stealthing about.

Did not get to test HHHR all that much, yet, but at 1/2 second for 16 exposures at sunset and 100mm is quite impressive .... for a bunch of bricks I guess.

I really wanted to see if I can push seconds exposure but the unfamiliarity of the lens (weight and size and shape) made it more difficult than I expected ... but I am still sure I can (AND I WILL) be able to do it better ... also not when I finish a 12 hours shift with a backpack on my back going home.

Not too many setups I'd feel comfortable taking with me in an ocean kayak. Here are some shots from Channel Islands National Park:
