This tree had an Osprey nest in it that was blown down or hit by lightning 5 or 6 years ago, and the Osprey still perch here even though they have a nearby nest, and no real fishing places for many miles.

some nice rain forest exposures, I always struggle with those and not much luck so far
Thanks. Get yourself a good circular polariser if you don't have one already. I find it helps immensely.

And I find it's a lot easier to use a polariser in full manual mode. I find if shooting in any semi automatic mode exposure compensation tends to kick in when switching from half polarisation to full polarisation. Also keep in mind that if you have a CPL on set to full polarisation, when you change your camera orientation you need to set it back to full again (since by rotating the camera you're also rotating the filter).
