what kind of images are u guys getting with your 12-100 at 100mm cropped 100%,ive only had mine a short time and took it out today and in great light and 64 iso my images seem very soft, focus was spot on where i focused, i viewed them in the view finder and seemed soft and when i imported them yes they were soft, can u post up some 100%crops of your images, thanx

thanx aqualung. wow that seems very sharp, here is my image from yesterday, sooc and cropped, does it seem soft or just me, when i zoom in on the boat at 100% it seems sharper than the dog and the dog was the focus,

Hi, I think it focused on the background... Can happen if the focus point is larger than the subject.

Yeah I'm not sure, have you tried some of the classic 'brick wall' shots, etc?
