GUZZIKNIGHT: Your land/water/sky-scapes are fantastic. I agree, as soon as I saw the 11-22 4/3 lens 2nd-hand I realised it would cover the whole "normal"-to-wide range for me in one lens — at 2.8!!!. Heavy and bulky, but worth having rather two other lenses in the bag. I did my recent trip to view the bushfire damage at a friend's place with the 11-22 on my GH-2 and my new O 75 f1.8 on my OM-D. Brought two other lenses [P/L 45, CV 50mm 1.1] along but never used them. On the strengh of the 11-22's performance I sold my P 14mm, and have not regretted it at all. For landscapes, the slow AF on the 22-22 is irrelevant.
Do you do any HD post-processing? I have never gone that far. For me its heavy use of CP and then PS treatment of the full frame [no masking, selections etc for "retouching"; than cropping, usually to 16-9, a format I have come to love.]

The 11-22 is a fantastic lens, it is my go to lens for landscapes on my E5 and on my micro4/3 bodies. The Panasonic 12-35 is good and has fast autofocus but it lags behind the 11-22 in image quality.

Thanks! I've thought many times about selling it and getting a smaller lens, but I just can't bring myself to do it. The IQ on the Olympus HG lenses is fantastic. As you said, the slow AF is irrelevant in landscape photography.

All of these shots are HDR, so I do quite a bit of post processing. I've gotten the workflow down to about 15 min/image. I've enlarged shots from this combo up to 30 inches wide with no problem.

How I've missed the sharpness, contrast and those Olympus colours. Part-exchanged a copy of this lens a couple of years ago and have regretted it ever since. Will be getting a used 14-54 mk II shortly, but don't expect quite the same performance from that. Mine actually performed better in the middle of the zoom range, but like most people I had it set at 11mm most of the time anyway.

That`s a great lens - a joy to use, but for my needs I`ve found it too slow on m43 cameras. ;(

Took a walk through the sugar cane fields near my home. The EM 1 and Olympus 11-22mm joined me.

I bought this lend kind of blind because there's so little said about it these days... But after 1 day very happy! Here are some night shots with the E-M5 (and the AF really isn't that bad, especially given it's a WA lens).

Seriously though, what a steal -- $239 for the lens in EX+ condition, $120 for a used Oly adapter (which you can use on other lenses too), and you get an optically awesome fast WA zoom that's fully weathersealed... :D
