Just got this lens...Wow! I have tested it in the same way that I once tested a Canon 70-200 2.8L, on a Canon 50D, and can say that this is as good, if not better than that on my OM-D EM-5, this lens is sharp:

Thinking of getting a copy of this lens to share between my EM-5 and my OM-1 film camera. How does it perform wide open on MFT?

The lens is very sharp wide open but would benefit from a hood at 2.8 to enhance contrast. It is a seriously good lens. I paid £62 for mine.

Nobody else wants to share ? Ok, I'll add one... Wide open, increase contrast a little bit and remove purple fringe in LR. Otherwise it's an SOOC jpeg.

I'm wondering how this awesome lens compared to the Panasonic 35-100, at 100mm f2.8...

Quite heavy LR use here, it's not this contrasty :)

The filter thread is damaged on mine but I just found the rubber outside of a 46mm screw in lens hood fits perfectly round the outside of the nose.
I added a rubber band inside the hood to hold it in place, all snug and fits perfectly

I finally got one of these and an adapter after the influence of this thread. I probably paid too much, but it was in minty condition. I love that it's not too big and the focus ring feels great. I noticed it's easy to move the aperture ring accidentally and is different to what I'm used to.
