Different angle. Last year I was chasing bees in the flower garden with the 60mm macro. These were in a tree with blossoms starting at 6' and topping out at ~20'. Computer is still dead and apparently I've filled a couple of 64gb sd cards. Handheld, C+af tr, auto IS. Wifi RAW download to Lightroom Mobile. Heavy crops.

Walked outside, moon peaking through the clouds. Ran inside, grabbed camera. Handheld leaning on a tree for some help. Cropped. 400mm (800mm) with stabilization is just plain fun.

Agree. I was thinking the same thing. If the Sigma at half the price is nearly the same lens, it would be a consideration on an adapter. I am thinking the Oly will be cheaper down the road and I am waiting for now.

I went the Sigma-Metabones route after giving up on getting a good copy of the Panasonic 100-400.
The S-M was fun. Having 600 mm changes the game. But oh, the weight! And the slower focus was quite frustrating, so you need to learn patience.

I'm very happy with the Olympus 100-400. A friend uses the Sigma on a Canon so I still have access but don't forsee that I'd give up the Olympus 100-400.

Might be of interest to some. JPEGs shot back to back on the Em5iii and G9.

Both had the same one-click frame and sharpening in Snapseed. So almost sooc JPEGs, but not quite.
