oly 70-300 + mmf3 vs oly 75-300 m34

    the answer might depend on which body as much as which lens......put another way, other than an E-M1 it will be the native, 75-300, everytime.

    even with the E-M1 you then get into issues related to the subject, lighting and shutter speeds because of the aperture differences on the one side v AF performance on the other.

    only once you have your 'perfect capture' do you then have IQ comparisons - the 70-300 should just come out on top in this area.

    all of which is why there's not a simple answer to 'which lens will be better'

    For anything that moves, I'd avoid adapted lenses, especially the 70-300 which was never that fast to begin with. The 75-300 isn't lightning fast, but it is much faster. Just a word of warning though - long lenses do have inherent challenges - you need to maintain high shutter speeds to avoid camera shake and to freeze a moving subject and you're often going to have a hard time getting really sharp images of distant subjects due to moisture/heat in the atmosphere.
