I tried to use this lens today with a Panasonic adapter.
It seemed to be over exposed.

Is there anything I need to set up on the camera?

Shouldn't be, no. Did it record the correct EXIF? If the body and lens aren't communicating, you may get odd exposure results. I see this occasionally with my Panasonic adapter and 12-60 - it's just a little bit loose, which can sometimes break the communication.

You can gently rub the contacts with a pencil eraser, sometimes that improves the connection.

For me, the only time that the camera seriously overexposes is when I accidentally changed the exposure compensation, otherwise, I've never had such problem with my 50-200 on my E-P3 or E-M5. I use an Olympus MMF2, but it shouldn't make any difference.

In my experience, when the camera and the adaptor are not making good contact, the screen goes dark as the camera does not detect a lens attached to it.
