    I'd like to set my wife up with a e-pl5 + 14-150mm to replace her Nikon d3100 + 18-55 + 55-200.
I've been searching around eBay for the 14-150, and the best deals I'm finding are for the lens + e-pl1 body.
I know it's a discontinued body, but it's cheaper than just buying the lens on it's own. ($499 camera + lens!).
I'm just wondering if there's different versions of this lens, or if they're all the same?
    Thanks...

There's only one version of the Olympus 14-150. Cameta (USA) often has refurbished 14-150 lenses on eBay for $330, but I'm not sure whether that helps where you are.

Check out Cameta's website - DH just bought one and it was a bit cheaper directly (not through eBay) & had free shipping

I bought one of Cameta's refurbished Oly 14-150's last year. It has worked out great with no problems. And Cameta will warranty it for a year even though it's a refurb.

Yes, I see various re-furbs for less than $499, but just saying that the cheapest NEW lens I see is $549, and the NEW e-pl1 + NEW 14-150 is $499.

If you must buy new, $499 is not bad.

Yeah, $499. And it comes with a free E-PL1...

Bought one today from Cameta! $499 for the kit. I think I'll try and get $100 or maybe $150 on eBay for the body, and this will be the cheapest 14-150 around!

I too bought a refurb 14-150 from Cameta few weeks ago. Other than the plain white box and packaging, it looked like a new lens and has performed 100% for me so far. Great deal.
