I went to Old Car City, about an hour north of Atlanta. It's a junkyard/museum, that's been there since 1931. 40 acres, 4000+ cars. Very interesting place to shoot. All taken with my E-P1 and E-PL2 and 11-22mm and Rokinon 7.5mm. All are HDRs.

Love it. I could really get "lost" in a place like that. I find old vehicles sitting around and "have" to take their portrait.

It is a very interesting place. I got to meet the owner while I was there. His dad started the junkyard in 1931 and it's grown from there.

Looks like a fun place to shoot. Some really nice compositions there, especially with the fisheye. The HDR is a little too heavy-handed for my tastes, but it does allow you to see the detail.

Great shots! Wish it was closer, but I do get to Atlanta on occasion. Do you have the run of the place, or do they restrict where you can go? What's the cost to get in?

It costs $15. Check their website since they aren't opened every day: Tours @ Old Car City

You have run of the place, but it's so big, you'll need several days to see it all. I was there for 2 hours, and probably saw a couple of hundred of the 4000+ cars!!

Sounds wonderful, and the pictures certainly are. It might just get me to Atlanta.
