I have lost the live view from the screen, it just shows this, so I know the screen is working

the view from the eye piece works just fine & displays when I look through it but get nothing apart from the level indicators on the screen
I must have pushed a button or turned something off but I cannot work out what I have done

    thanks in advance

Probably pushed the button to the side of the eyepiece that toggles between what is displayed on the back screen...

Sometimes that feature is handy. You can switch off the Live view from the backscreen and then cycle the screen modes with info button to turn off the back monitor. That way it doesn't distract other people in dark environments.

Only thing I don't like on my EM10 is that you can't truly turn off the screen, like you can with Panasonic. It's a black, but backlit, screen on Olympus.
