    Hello everyone,
Maybe some of you saw another thread where I say I am planning to modify an EM10 for astro imaging.
Last night I decided to put it to the test before modifying it!

So here is 3.25 hours in 5 min subs, 60 dark frames and 200 bias frames... AT ISO 800
    Post processing in Pixinsight

I have used many cameras and the EM10 is a serious contender...

Very nice :) I wonder if I've seen that edge-on spiral in the upper-right, must look at my observing notes.. :2thumbs:

Awesome Renaud! This is one of the best pictures that I have seen coming from a micro four thirds camera...seriously, great job.

I agree, the em10 should do great for astroimaging. As you know, I have the epm2 and I am very happy with it. The only problem that you may encounter is the field of view due to the crop factor.

What telescope and mount are you using?

    Cheers!

    Thanks Guys...

Jim R, yes it is an edge on galaxy, I think it is IC4263.

Georgian, here is my rig in my backyard observatory
Telescope is an Explore Scientific 127ED on a Vixen SXP mount...
