OIS: Menu vs. Lens Switch

    I'm sure this is a dumb question :rolleyes:  but...just for perfect clarity, the following are true?

    1. If camera menu is set to OIS off, OIS will not activate regardless of lens switch

    2. If camera menus is set to OIS on (any type), OIS will not activate if lens switch is "off"

    On Panasonic G2 when having OIS lens with a switch you can not switch off the OIS from manu. You just have mode setting. And switching is done by the lenses switch.
