Shot a lot today, but mostly in RAW and i haven't done the GX-7 RAW file recognition yet, so only a few JPEGs to post. Great camera in terms of handling and size. I shot pretty much 100% manual today, and it's great to have the actual shutter speed dial and aperture, plus great live view and EVF (which is different from my experience with the X100 and X-Pro 1, my last digital cameras with analog controls). Maybe I should finally sell my M3...

Yesterday, My best friend was teaching a workshop and I went to make a small video for her. I took some photos too to test the LX100 for that kind of work.

Hmm seeing what I was seeing in my LX100 before I returned it… Orange/Red in Jpegs was super pronounced. Those pumpkins look very red

Yes, Panasonic JPEGs are not as refined (to my eye) as Fuji or Olympus, but easily correctable in Lightroom. I do tend to shoot RAW, but have not yet been able to apply the file converter recommended by others so LR recognizes the KX100 files as a GX-7.

Please, could someone post 3 different kind of portraits all of them shot at 75mm F2.8:
- Complete Figure
- Half Figure
- head portrait (from shoulders to hair)

I would like to compare the IQ and Bokeh with Zuiko 45mm F1.8

Thanks!

Wow. I'm liking the pictures in this thread much more than any of the pre-release samples I looked at. Great job guys, the LX100 definitely packs a wallop!

The water drops on leaves shots should have a plane of focus that goes across the frame: there should be something in sharp focus somewhere from one side of the frame to the other. Only the center third has sharply rendered details. Just an observation.
