I particularly like #2 and #3. I think they would both make terrific square crops (crop the top from #2 and bottom from #3). IMHO and meant in a constructive manner.
I couldn't agree more Steve.

I find I crop a lot of my vertical shots to square in post, I didn't in this case as these were going on Instagram.

A few from my first trip to the Peak District this year.
I usually don't go out on Bank Holidays because of the crowds but after being locked up for three months I made an exception. I took a hike from Ladybower Reservoir up to Crook Hill, I haven't been up Crook Hill before and I think it has potential in better conditions.

Lake Wowaminya by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Lake Wowaminya is to the east of Jokers Tunnel and the lease, The Star of Biberatha. It even gets a mention in Google has been subject to excessive mine water discharge from the Golden Grove operation.

Scenes from the sometimes tortuous 8 hour dirt road drive through the Cathedral Valley section of Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. The drive consists of a 70 mile "loop" like a big horseshoe shape...you begin on the west side and return to Hwy. 24 on the east end of the loop. The elevation where you begin by fording the Fremont River is ~4800' and at the apex is~7200'. There are several well marked spur roads that take you to vista overlooks or hiking trails. These photos are of colorful temples, monuments, spires from near the end the loop tour that were shaped by volcanic and erosion forces. No.4 are remnants of a lava dike formed when molten magma was forced through seams/fissures in the earths crust. No. 5 are lava sills, the black layers, formed again by molten magma being forced through seams in sedimentary layers. No. 8 is Glass Mountain, Temple of the Sun and Temple of the Moon in the distance, center. The last photo of Glass Mountain is selenite crystals (a crystalline form of gypsum) commonly known as "moonstone" .

So there is something interesting hidden in Capitol Reef!
Also, Selenite is not actually moonstone. Two different things. Although confusingly, selenite means moonstone. Either way, super cool!
