Oh the memories. I've trained many a marine Cadet and/or DofE participant up that way. Set them an unaccompanied map reading/fitness test from Arrochar over the cobbler to Rest and Be Thankful. Used to fit a few hour's fishing in on Loch Long before rendezvousing later

Couple of shots from Scotland. The second, for those who don't know, is the Falkirk wheel. This one of a kind structure is a canal boat lift.

No...I am on a "bench" about 20 miles south of SLC proper on the east side of I-15 Sandy/Draper border. The pano was taken from the Draper Park which is 1/2 mile south of my house. This is Lone Peak, which tops out at 11, 253 feet and is one of the higher peaks of the Wasatch Mountain range.
